Happy 250th Birthday America!  Come celebrate America's founding with Metro and Almonte!  On July 4th, 1776, the Second Continental Congress officially approved the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia.

The fossils meant for our library collection have gone missing! 🦴🔎 Help us complete the Fossil Collection by exploring the building and searching for all the hidden fossils in this fun seek-and-find adventure.

Learn how to use the ladder stitch and the brick stitch to create some beaded dinosaur earrings! All supplies included. Kits available while supplies last. 

Have you unearthed an item with a story you would like to share? Bring your interesting items--rocks, 
bones, shells, fossils, etc.--to add to the library’s cabinet of curiosities! Fill out a short message on a label 

Create a one-of-a-kind dinosaur with this take-home kit. Your child will finger paint over a dinosaur cutout using tempera paints. After they are finished, you can remove the cutout and see their beautiful art.

Step into the shoes of a junior paleontologist! Inside this kit, you’ll find the bones of a mighty dinosaur — freshly “unearthed” and 3D printed just for you.
