Program Description

Event Description

JOIN US FOR A LIVE (Socially Distanced & Outdoor) PROGRAM! This event will be held on the covered ADULT PATIO at NW Library. Seven groups can attend one of two Tuesday morning times. We will do one of the activities together and then you can take the rest of the kit home with you. Registration is by FAMILY (or close friends); please indicate how many children (3 max) will be at your table. In case of inclement weather, watch your email because we may have to cancel. In that case, you would be able to pick up your kits any time that week.

Did you know insects are animals too? Well, prepare to get BUGGY! We'll fashion a firefly that will light up the summer night with its glowing TAIL! Then you'll take home a color and shrink bug keyring so you can buzz off into the sunset OR stay and search for bugs in your own backyard scavenger hunt. Of course, there's sure to be an interesting and hilarious list of bug TALES to read before school starts again!
