Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.
This beginners class will discuss common herbs that you can use to make various drinks for kids! Hot and cold teas, herbal-rade, fruit drinks and more!
So much more than books! Join us as a librarian introduces little ones to the library and shows parents/caregivers how to create excitement about reading. Connect with others while enjoying rhymes, songs, books, and a craft.

The Pet Food Pantry of Oklahoma, Central Oklahoma's Food Bank for Pets, will bring their mobile food pantry to the Ralph Ellison parking lot to give away food for your dog or cat. Food available while supplies last.
Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that the library is open down in the first floor atrium. We have fantastic volunteer pianists playing our baby grand piano.
Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Friday from 1-3. For adults and teens.
Glitter and glue and markers and tape... these are a few of my favorite things! Join us every Friday afternoon at 2:00PM in the children's area for an hour of come-and-go craft time.

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
