The OKC Mobile Market offers fresh produce to residents of Oklahoma County at no cost. We know that access to fresh fruit and vegetables is a barrier for many folks in the community, not only due to food deserts, but also the rising cost of food.

Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parents and caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and create excitement about reading.
Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Downtown Color Castle: Make Rainbow Lollipops with Modeling Clay
Color your world this summer at the library! This week, join us to make rainbow lollipops using modeling clay.
Do you like to move it, move it? Bring your dancing shoes, wear your dancing clothes, and come "shake it off" to some favorite tunes!
In this program, long-time snake enthusiast and expert, Larry Daniel, invites the audience to engage in an open discussion about snakes.

Sharing in playtimes is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning and discover that the library is a destination for fun!
Children up to the age of 18 years can receive a free, nutritious meal and snack every Monday and Friday from June 2 - July 28 (except July 4).

Join us every Monday and Friday that the library is open down in the first floor atrium. We have fantastic volunteer pianists playing our baby grand piano.
Children ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy a meal from 12-1:30 p.m. at Ralph Ellison Library.
Meals are provided by Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
