Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parents and caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and create excitement about reading. Connect with others while enjoying stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and more!
Move and groove with Miss Ginger!
This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to be in attendance and be engaged with your child for this program.
Sharing in playtime is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning, and discover that the library is a destination for fun! Children will have the opportunity to practice skills such as: following directions, socializing with others, using language, and using small and large muscles. Come meet new friends, bond with your little one, and explore the many resources your neighborhood library has to offer!

No matter your level of experience there is something to gain from these all level classes. Yoga has numerous benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved muscle strength, increased blood flow, better posture, balance, and more!
Join us every Monday and Friday that the library is open down in the first floor atrium. We have fantastic volunteer pianists playing our baby grand piano.
Exercise while having fun! Let's learn to line dance at the library. Enjoy a social activity, and get great exercise. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Do you love painting, drawing, sculpting, or just being creative? Then join us on the 2nd Friday of every month at 2PM to learn about a new art method or material!

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
Interested in learning to play Pokemon? Are you a seasoned pro? Somewhere in between? There is a game for you at Midwest City Library Pokemon League!
