Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing.

This program is perfect for young children. We will share short books together and sing songs and do motions with parents help. Suggested ages 0-3. 

This is a continuation of the previous 6 week class. We are not taking new registrations for this program. Keep an eye out for another class in the spring.

Adults and teens, ages 16 and older, can improve their reading, spelling, and writing skills in this free class. The class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday and is coordinated by Community Literacy Centers (CLC).

Celebrate Computer Science Education Week with us!

This is a recurring event and takes place on the first Thursday of the month. A similar event is held at multiple libraries.

Looking for the truth? Celebrate lifelong learning as we read and discuss an array of nonfiction titles on varying subject matter.

This Intermediate class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements.

Come play with puppets and friends. Enjoy a time of music, movement, crafts and stories.This program is best suited for students who can follow basic song movements and listen to slightly longer stories. Suggested ages 3-6.

Graphic Novel Book Club is a Downtown Library community interest group that meets to discuss graphic novels and comics.

Trapped in Oogie Boogie’s lair, you’ll need to discover clues, solve his puzzles, and open the lock before it’s too late!

Free, in-person math, science and language arts enrichment and assistance is available for students of all ages. This service is available Tuesdays and Thursdays year round.

Children are able to sign-up for a reading time 10 minutes before program begins.

For ages 1-5 years: Sharing in playtime is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning, and discover that the library is a destination for fun!

Get loud and game on! Bring your family and come play video and board games at the library. We'll even learn some new games to play with the family over the holidays.

If you can imagine it, you can build it! Spark your creativity and satisfy your curiosity at LEGO Club. Join other kids to engineer some fun. This club meets on the first Thursday of each month.Similar clubs exist at other libraries.
