This is an open event for all teens who want to celebrate Pride in a safe and fun way.  We will have snacks, crafts, and karaoke.  Bring your friends or make new ones.  Open for all LGBTIA+ teens and allies.

In this program, long-time snake enthusiast and expert, Larry Daniel, invites the audience to engage in an open discussion about snakes.

For thousands of years, artists have been telling stories using only pictures like cave paintings, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Medieval tapestries, and comic books today.

Children and families are invited to a roaring good time at the library!

Children ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy a meal from 12-1:30 p.m. at Ralph Ellison Library.

Meals are provided by Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.

Exercise while having fun! Let's learn to line dance at the library. Enjoy a social activity, and get great exercise. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable shoes.

TV's Lucas Ross (KFOR/KAUT's Rise and Shine, American Banjo Museum) takes you on a banjo adventure with songs, puppets and lots of comedy!

 What can a skull tell us about an animal? In this exciting class, students will explore the five major animal classifications (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish) through the fascinating study of skulls.

Come & Go crafting!

Join us anytime between 3-4:30 on the 2nd & 4th Fridays in June & July! This is a self directed come and go program. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you love to read books and watch movies? Do you love to discuss both? Then you should join us for our Page-to-Screen Book Club where we will read a book each month and then meet to watch the movie adaptation of that book.

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome.

Are you a seasoned chess player looking to get in some more practice or help bring new players into the game, or a new player looking to dip their toes into the world of chess? This all ages, all skill levels program will help you do just that!

The first 6 teens to register for this book club this month, get a copy of the book to read and keep.  Come out and eat some snacks and discuss the best and worst parts of this month's book selection: Spin.

Join us for Saturday Family Storytime at the Belle Isle Library! Enjoy a fun-filled morning of books, songs, play, and interactive activities, perfect for the whole family. Activities will vary week to week. 

Like piecing together fragments of the past, practice decorative mending techniques with fiber artist Darci Lenker. Learn simple stitches to patch clothing in creative, visible ways—turning worn spots into treasures.
