Celebrate October with a fun-filled, family-friendly Tie-Dye Party! Join us to experiment with cool tie-dye techniques. Choose either a handkerchief or pencil bag to dye--perfect for adding a unique touch to your fall accessories.

Come join us for some LEGO fun! We provide the legos, you provide the creativity!

Join us at the library for a chance to read to a loving therapy dog. Reading to dogs allows children to practice literacy skills in an encouraging, non-judgmental environment.

This program is intended for children learning to read and practicing reading aloud.

Boost your child's reading skills with Rocket Readers (ages 5-12)! This is an in-person event where your child practice reading and comprehension skills one-on-one with volunteers.

A cozy, fun-filled space where kids choose a themed book to read aloud with a sibling, friend, parent, or librarian. After reading time, enjoy games that introduce and reinforce literacy skills, like Bananagrams, Sequence Letters, and Quiddler.

Come build with us! We supply the bricks and you supply the imagination! This is a recurring event that takes place on the first Tuesday of each month at the Midwest City Library. Similar events take place at other locations.

Practice makes perfect in sports, and the same is true in school. Research has shown that the best way for children to improve their reading, math, and science reasoning skills is through practice.

Participants will be making a needle felted wool soft sculpture using the theme of Hispanic Heritage with guidance from Darci Lenker of Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.
