We love dinosaurs! Each month we'll learn about a different dinosaur, read a story, and work on a craft together. 

1st Saturday of the month 2-3PM

Set sail on a glowing journey beneath the waves! In this immersive art adventure, kids ages 5–10 will dive into an underwater world brought to life with fluorescent paints, black lights, and magical storytelling.

Come join us for some LEGO fun! We provide the legos, you provide the creativity!

Join us at the library for a chance to read to a loving therapy dog. Reading to dogs allows children to practice literacy skills in an encouraging, non-judgmental environment.

Kids ages 5-12 will learn about the famous action artist Jackson Pollock and his abstract paint slingin’, large-scale masterpieces! We will get our hands dirty making acrylic paint and string paintings in Pollock's style.

This program is intended for children learning to read and practicing reading aloud.

Kids 7-12 will have the chance to create a Pablo Picasso-inspired face using cardboard, construction paper, markers, oil pastels, and embellishments!

Kids ages 5-12 will learn about color theory and how to dye their own apparel with tie dye bombs! 

Want to be a more confident reader? Build "pawsitive" self-esteem and improve your reading skills while reading aloud to certified therapy dogs at the library.

Come build with us! We supply the bricks and you supply the imagination! This is a recurring event that takes place on the first Tuesday of each month at the Midwest City Library. Similar events take place at other locations.

This program has 2 sessions. Please register for either 6-6:30 pm OR 6:30-7 pm. Each reader must be registered individually.

School's back in session, so let's talk fidget toys and sensory tools used to increase focus and reduce stress. See what's available and make one or two to take home.

Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! We are going to be exploring the natural world this year, starting off with wiggling worms!

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Join the ultimate bubble party at the Big Bubble Bash! Mix up crazy bubble recipes, create colorful bubble art, and blow giant, party-sized bubbles.

Kids 7-12 will have a chance to create a variety of prints using methods such as Gelli Plate, foam, and ink blot printing!

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Join us on Thursdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.
