The August 2025 Culture Crew Participants began creating a Community Mosaic.  The puzzle pieces already created at this time are being displayed at the Del City Library. 

Are you the kind of reader who likes to finish the book before the movie comes out? Then this is the book club for you. Each month, we'll read a book that is about to hit theaters or pop up on streaming services.

Get ready to move, make-believe, and build during Del City Library’s Playtime! Library staff will help caregivers and children explore the benefits of all the different ways we play.

With technology becoming such a large part of every day life it can be easy to feel overwhelmed.

Open up your mind and let your imagination flow! In this space, creativity is key. Bring your favorite writing tools and network with other writers as you follow creative writing prompts in this exercise in finding inspiration. 

Join us for a couple hours of painting and relaxation! We'll be guided through a step-by-step video tutorial by an artist to paint a masterpiece while we chat and enjoy some light refreshments. 

Having a car is almost a necessity, but how do you take care of it without going broke? Learn basic car maintenance that can save you thousands of dollars later in repairs.

This is an event open to ages 13-25.

Join us for storytime at the Del City Library! Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parents and caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and create excitement about reading.

Calling all homeschoolers! Join us as we get together to hang out with other homeschool kids and teens to connect. We will play socializing games, discover new books, play games, make crafts, and more!

Practice makes perfect in sports, and the same is true in school. Research has shown that the best way for children to improve their reading, math, and science reasoning skills is through practice.

This program is intended for children learning to read and practicing reading aloud.

Join us at the library for an in-person open game night! We'll have plenty of board games, a Nintendo Switch, and snacks!

The OKC Mobile Market offers fresh produce to residents of Oklahoma County at no cost. We know that access to fresh fruit and vegetables is a barrier for many folks in the community, not only due to food deserts, but also the rising cost of food.
