Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, games, and activities that encourage language development and promote positive attitudes about reading and learning!

It's teen time at the library! Come join in on the fun every other Tuesday while we play video games, board games, be crafty, techy, or just hang out and make new friends! Have an idea for a teen program? We want to hear from you!

Have you always wanted to learn how to cook, but getting out those big pots and pans just isn't it? No one wants to have to do all those dishes all the time!

Children ages 4-18 are invited to enjoy an afterschool snack/meal from 3:30-5:00 pm at Ralph Ellison Library. 

This 6 week interactive class works with parents to build a toolbox full of education, tips, tricks, and strategies for supportive parenting.

Join us for a fun Saturday afternoon of exploring and learning more about science, technology, engineering, art, and math via an engaging activity or craft. Supplies will be provided. Recommended for ages 5 - 12.

Ralph Ellison Library is offering a new creative and collaborative club for the community! The Scrapbooking Club is an opportunity for guests to preserve memories, create personalized keepsakes, and connect with fellow scrapbook enthusiasts.

Tonight the Society of Urban Poets with be joined by Hallie Waugh, new MLS Poet Laureate. Her poetry has appeared in New York Quarterly and other journals. She holds an MFA and has taught poetry at the college level.
