The OKC Mobile Market offers fresh produce to residents of Oklahoma County at no cost. We know that access to fresh fruit and vegetables is a barrier for many folks in the community, not only due to food deserts, but also the rising cost of food.

Bring your little ones for a fun-filled hour of open-ended art exploration at the library! Toddlers and preschoolers can get creative with a variety of hands-on activities, from finger painting to colorful sensory experiences.

Target Age: Preschool and school-age children  

Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parents and caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and create excitement about reading.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Touch some grass in the Downtown Color Castle as we explore the different colors we see in nature! Using flowers, leaves, twigs, and other nature items you can make a bookmark, a bracelet, or a crown! 

Grab your favorite stuffed animal and head to the library for Storytime! We will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and a craft with our beloved stuffed animals before leaving them at the library for a sleepover.

The Oklahoma Violin Ensemble invites you to experience the beauty of live string music. We want to share the string music that changed our lives, as we are grateful and blessed to have learned to play the violin at an early age.

Children up to the age of 18 years can receive a free, nutritious meal and snack every Monday and Friday from June 2 - July 28 (except July 4). 

Children ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy a meal from 12-1:30 p.m. at Ralph Ellison Library.

Meals are provided by Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3.

Let the sunshine in, and celebrate the longest day of the year! We will learn how to do a sun salutation and meditation, make flower crowns and sun wheels, and explore the science behind the solstice. And what's a party without refreshments?

Receive and learn how to use a set of free educational toys for your 4-5 year old. The Early Birds program can help with early childhood education and school readiness for children under the age of 5.
