Help the Oklahoma State Fair celebrate 100 years of Route 66 by creating your own classic car! Cars will be made out of toilet paper rolls, construction paper, and your own innovation. 

For thousands of years, artists have been telling stories using only pictures like cave paintings, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Medieval tapestries, and comic books today.

Your stuffed animal friend (or other favorite toy) is invited to Science Camp at the Bethany Library! Drop them off Thursday, July 16 between 3pm-8pm and pick them up Thursday July 23th starting at 2 pm.

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Based on the real events of the discovery of the shipwrecked Steamboat Heroine in the Red River, participants will use STEAM to "solve the mystery" of what was suddenly discovered at the bottom of the river and what it tells us about Oklahoma hist

Get hands-on in Slime Lab, where you’ll mix, test, and customize your own slime. Experiment with colors, textures, and add-ins, fix slime fails, and learn what makes slime stretchy, crunchy, or glossy.

Come explore the fiber arts with us! All skill levels are welcome. Stay in Stitches this July as we unearth a story with a prehistoric twist—participants will cross-stitch a fearsome (and fun) T-Rex!

Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Practice early literacy skills through games, crafts and observations. Let's learn through the exploration of nature at the Luther Library.

Join us for a support group for parents hosted by Oklahoma County Child Guidance through the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.

Bring your little ones for a fun-filled hour of open-ended art exploration at the library! Toddlers and preschoolers can get creative with a variety of hands-on activities, from finger painting to colorful sensory experiences.

Join the Geologists of the Oklahoma Geological Survey in a “please touch” program digging into Oklahoma’s ancient past.

Children ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy a meal from 12-1:30 p.m. at Ralph Ellison Library.

Meals are provided by Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.

Meet and assist OCCHD representatives as well as handing out flyers and other information regarding Almonte Library events, programming and community related information.

Exercise while having fun! Let's learn to line dance at the library. Enjoy a social activity, and get great exercise. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable shoes.
