New to computers or just need a refresher? This welcoming, hands-on series is designed especially for older adults —but open to all! Learn essential computer skills step-by-step in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.

The Pet Food Pantry of Oklahoma, Central Oklahoma's Food Bank for Pets, will bring their mobile food pantry to the Ralph Ellison parking lot to give away food for your dog or cat. Food available while supplies last.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3.

Do you love painting, drawing, sculpting, or just being creative? Then join us on the 2nd Friday of every month at 2PM to learn about a new art method or material!

Come enjoy some Fitness Fun with our teachers from the YMCA as they lead a class full of fun and movement. We will play games that work on coordination, strength, balance, and more. Parents are welcome to participate too!

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, come learn about traditional basketry from members of the Choctaw Nation and create your own basket to take home.

Join us in the Children’s Area as we read a story together and make a fun craft inspired by a book! This drop-in program is perfect for families with young children who love stories, creativity, and quality time.

Join us for Saturday Family Storytime at the Belle Isle Library! Enjoy a fun-filled morning of books, songs, play, and interactive activities, perfect for the whole family. Activities will vary week to week. 

Please join us for a playtime that includes an assortment of blocks, manipulatives, and infant toys, which stimulate growth and foster repetitive play for our toddler friends!

Join us for a wonderful story and weaving experience! Kids will hear a Cherokee story, and will learn about weaving as they create their own work of art!

Need legal advice?

Join us for a deliciously fun family program! Kids and their grown-ups will work together to make their very own apple pie right here at the library. Once it’s ready, you’ll take your pie home to bake and enjoy.

Looking to improve your English speaking skills? Join us at the Jones Library and practice ESL through conversation!
