Do you like sharing recipes, stories, books, craft ideas, watching little known movies and discussing all kinds of cultures- including diversity and pop culture?  Yes?!   We will have a different shared experience - maybe a recipe?

In November, we will have art time on November 20.

Come for the lemonade, stay for the games, crafts, and activities! We'll bring out our Nintendo Switch and compete in Mario Kart tournaments, play Exploding Kittens, do puzzles together, and more!

For teens in grades 6 - 12.

Join us an evening of Vinyl Record Listening & Art!
Bring in your own vinyl records to spin while creating some art!
Art Supplies will be provided but feel free to bring in your own project to work on if desired.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Let's go on an animal adventure! Each month, we'll learn about a different animal, read a related story, and work on an animal craft or activity together.

Calling all young readers! Join us as we discover new books, play games, make crafts, and more! Books clubs are an excellent way for children to develop language and conversation skills, solve problems, and make new friends.

Join a Ralph Ellison librarian for a story and art project!

Our project for this month is SHAVING CREAM MARBLING

ROAR! It's tea time! Dress up in your fancy tea party clothes and join us for a Rawr-some morning. We will read a book about a dinosaur tea party, have our own tea party, and do related crafts and activities.

Session 2 will be for guests who attended Session 1. During this session, guests will sand and paint their Native American Coil Art. Guests will be provided sandpaper, acrylic paint and brushes.

Join us on the fourth Saturday of each month to complete a LEGO challenge. All LEGO's will be provided.

Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available. 

Ralph Ellison Library is offering a new creative and collaborative club for the community! The Scrapbooking Club is an opportunity for guests to preserve memories, create personalized keepsakes, and connect with fellow scrapbook enthusiasts.

Join us with your preschooler as we play with arts and crafts. Projects are process based and are designed to help kids with their fine motor skills, self expression, and many other valuable concepts. Don't put your little ones in cute clothes!

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

Do you love watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? Have you ever imagined making your own big balloon or helping carry one down the street?

Join us for a night of painting holiday cards! Put your personal touch on hand painted cards to share with your family and friends, or keep for yourself. No experience required.

Come to the Midwest City Library for a ROARING good time! Expect games, activities, crafts, and a dino-rific Storytime!  

Gather with other teens in an open and welcoming after-school space where everyone is free to be who they are. We will share experiences and do fun activities including small crafts.

Join us for a different STEAM activity each Tuesday! All ages welcome!

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Enjoy a tasty meal provided by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, then get creative with exciting Arts & Crafts. Each week brings a new activity, so there's always something fun to do while spending time with friends.
