Join us for Imagine Lab at the Belle Isle Library! Each week, kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade will take part in a new activity designed to spark creativity and encourage learning.

Join us for a different STEAM activity each Tuesday! All ages welcome!

Join us in hands on science, art, engineering, and play activities using only objects from nature! 

Enjoy a tasty meal provided by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, then get creative with exciting Arts & Crafts. Each week brings a new activity, so there's always something fun to do while spending time with friends.

Come and meet Oklahoma artist, Irmgard Geul, as she shows some of her artwork and discusses her unique mixed media and fiber art techniques. Then guests will have an opportunity to create artwork of their own using Irmgard's techniques.

Learn about the art of inflatables from local artist Katelynn Knick!

Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Come for the lemonade, stay for the games, crafts, and activities! We'll bring out our Nintendo Switch and compete in Mario Kart tournaments, play Exploding Kittens, do puzzles together, and more!

For teens in grades 6 - 12.

Get crafty and help out local wildlife by making your own pinecone bird feeder! We'll use pinecones, peanut butter, and birdseed to create a simple and fun feeder that you can hang at home to attract birds. All materials provided.

Come explore the fiber arts with us! All skill levels welcome. Stay In Stitches this January with a cozy cross-stitch craft! You will recieve all the supplies needed to create your own snowflake design—perfect for wintertime stitching.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Did you know that Dolly Parton and Edgar Allan Poe share a birthday?  Join us as we celebrate their birthday a few days late with a party that will be great for the whole family.  We will have an Imagination Library dramatic play station

Let's go on an animal adventure! Each month, we'll learn about a different animal, read a related story, and work on an animal craft or activity together.

Winter blues got you down? Add some green into your life instead! Learn how to make your own miniature plants: no water or sunlight needed! Instead, we will be using wire and beads to create one-of-a-kind creations.

Join us in the Children’s Area as we read a story together and make a fun craft inspired by a book! This drop-in program is perfect for families with young children who love stories, creativity, and quality time.
