Join us for a building extravaganza at the library! Stop by our different stations to free build using a variety of blocks, including LEGOs, jumbo LEGOs, K'nex, magnetic tiles, Lincoln logs and so much more!

Gather your team of up for an amazing time! Or come as One and join other Puzzle friends. The Southern Oaks Puzzle Race! Each team can have 2 to 4 people.

Get inspired at the library! 

Stop by to create exciting projects using various art mediums, methods, and materials.

An educational and culturally immersive experience to give all ages a firsthand look at the significance and beauty of Native American Regalia. Led by Native American presenters from the Red Earth, Inc., guests will see traditional Regal

Join us at the library for a chance to read to a loving therapy dog. Reading to dogs allows children to practice literacy skills in an encouraging, non-judgmental environment.

Many tribes all across North America have used, and some still continue using, cradleboards to carry their children at very young ages. Join us for a unique learning experience with the Red Earth, Inc.

Please join us on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 4:30PM for LEGO Club. Use your imagination and create your own design or participate in our monthly construction challenge. We supply the LEGO blocks, you bring the creativity. 

At this come-and-go event we will be there to answer questions about library services and you will get to meet other homeschool families. There will also be games and a selection of new materials for you to peruse and check out. 

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.

Guests will make an apple pie to take home. Only 1 pie per registration and 1 registration per family

You’re never too young or too old to make art! Join us the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for open-ended creation inspired by different artists and techniques. Children age six and younger should be accompanied by an adult.
