123! Play with Me! Builds Pre-literacy Skills
123! Play with Me! is a four-week series that is part of Metro’s Family Place initiative. These programs are for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, and their parents and caregivers. This fun and play-based program provides a developmentally-appropriate environment rich with toys, books and art activities designed to give families an opportunity to spend time together, make new friends and talk one-on-one with early childhood and family support specialists. This informal playgroup setting is an ideal place for parents and caregivers to meet and question community experts in the areas of child development, speech and language, nutrition, play, movement, or music.
