Program Description

Event Description

Join us as we welcome back SNAPOLOGY of Bethany for a 4-day Spring Break Robotics Camp with kids ages 7-12!

Please register each child individually. This is a series, so your registration (or cancellation) applies for all four days.

Day 2: Race Car

Description: Students will learn about the motion sensor and how it is used in programming robotics. Invisible infrared waves are sent and received by the motion sensor. The time in between sending and receiving these waves is then used to determine if an object is moving, getting closer, or moving farther away.

7 is the minimum age set by the outside presenter, no exceptions.  Parents with younger children are welcome to take their younger children out into the library, but they do need to stay in the building.  They may also bring a quiet activity for their younger child to do with the parent off to the side of the program.
