Event Description
Power Hack is back!! This Edmond Library favorite returns this fall for our favorite coders, new and old, to join us for this six-week coding club.
Ever dreamed of making your own games, apps and programs? Start learning the skills and tools in this six-week program that you'll need to eventually be a master game maker. We'll work for the next six weeks in programs like Scratch to learn some beginning and early intermediate coding skills. Interested in something more advanced? Let us know in the notes what your coder would like to learn and we'll be ready for them!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Power Hack is for grades 2nd and up only. Registration is ONCE for the entire six weeks. This will be a closed club to enhance our coders' experience. The primary club is designed for beginner and early intermediate coders but more advanced coders may register and work on additional projects.
Our coding program works on laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and any device that can access the web (no phones, please). Participants are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN DEVICES.
If you do not have a device, you are still welcome to sign up for club! The library will have ten devices reserved for club members; however, you may be asked to share these devices with a partner. All library devices will be available only during club time; they may not be checked out.
