Event Description

Power Hack is back!! This Edmond Library favorite returns this spring ready for a brand-new group of coders to join us for this six-week for coding club.

Ever dreamed of making your own games, apps and programs? Start learning the skills and tools in this six-week program that you'll need to eventually be a master game maker. We'll work for the next six weeks in programs like block coders, Python and Javascript to give our 9-18 year olds a great understanding of the basics of writing their own code.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Power Hack is for grades 4th and up only. Registration is not required.
The coding program is designed to start each student at their appropriate level and grow with them. Prior experience is not required; there are no attendance requirements.
Our coding program works on laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and any device that can access the web (no phones, please). Participants are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN DEVICES.
If you do not have a device, you are still welcome to come to club! The library will have ten devices reserved for club members; however, you may be asked to share these devices with up to two other partners during club. All library devices will be available only during club time; they may not be checked out.
