Program Description

Event Description

Have you ever wanted to grow your own vegetables at home, but didn't know where or when to start?  If so, come pick up our Urban Garden kit which includes a set of seeds to grow a variety of vegetables and herbs.  This kit will allow you to plant veggies starting this month with lettuce, carrots, and radishes.  Next month when the soil is warmer you can plant the tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, and basil.  Seeds are suitable to be direct sown in your yard or large container pots.  Kit includes a black marker and wooden labels so you can remember where everything is!  Vegetables and herbs come in a variety of colors to introduce you to the amazing world possible in an urban garden.  A great way to celebrate Earth Day!
