Step into a living display of transformation! Visit our side-by-side tanks all summer long as we explore the beauty of nature and color in motion. One tank features tiny caterpillars growing and changing into vibrant butterflies.

During June & July, come to the Creation Station to take part in collaborative art projects and other ways to color our world!

Activities will rotate throughout the summer.

Take home a new kit every week to learn about a new artist and get inspiration for your own creations!

In honor of Juneteenth, stop by the library’s Seed Library to pick up a packet of roselle hibiscus seeds—an easy-to-grow plant with deep cultural roots.

This is a take home kit for ages 5 and up. Included is an informational booklet about Oklahoma butterflies, the butterfly life cycle, and how to attract butterflies with flowers, water, and food.

Come by the Luther Library every week of Summer Reading for a unique arts themed craft! This week's design idea is to create your own headband, turning yourself into a dragon, a unicorn, or something in between!

Color Our World when you come to the Northwest Library in June! Stop by the table near the Info, color and decorate one popsicle stick. These will be assembled in a collage to create a piece of Community Art!

Ralph Ellison Library is honored and excited to host librarian and researcher Phillip Tolbert's curated display of the history of Juneteenth.

Colorful Clay Creations on display for a week after the event. Can be picked up by participants at any time!

Come and learn about the origins of Juneteenth, including the spreading of the Emancipation Proclamation and Black culture.

The Southern Oaks Library welcomes the community to join in spreading kindness throughout the year. A kindness calendar will be available each month for library guests to pick up in person or available curbside.

Create a step-by-step family tree! Include whoever you consider your family--friends, found relatives, etc. Feel free to share your creations with family and the library!
