In honor of National Library Week, the Ralph Ellison Library will be hosting a little contest. We would like to invite you to guess how many books are in our library's collection. One guess per person.
WEATHER CLOSURE:
Due to the forecast of severe weather, all Metropolitan Libraries will close at 2pm today, 5/6/2024.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE:
The Almonte Library will be closed Sat., 5/4 through Tue., 5/14, to prepare for their grand reopening in their new building on Wed., 5/15 at 10 AM.

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
