This program has 2 sessions. Please register for either 6-6:30 pm OR 6:30-7 pm. Each reader must be registered individually. 

This program is intended for children learning to read and practicing reading aloud.

Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Practice early literacy skills through games, crafts and observations. Let's learn through the exploration of nature at the Luther Library.

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Celebrate the season with sugar, spice, and everything nice! Kids will use gingerbread panels and lots of sweet treats to build gingerbread houses full of holiday cheer. A deliciously fun way to get creative and spread festive joy!

Enjoy a tasty meal provided by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, then get creative with exciting Arts & Crafts. Each week brings a new activity, so there's always something fun to do while spending time with friends.

Get ready for a day filled with fun as kids dive into the magical world of slime. Kids will get to explore different ways to make slime and create their own to take home. This is going to get messy!

Join us on Thursdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.

Kids and Teens, do you want to build a snowman? Then come join us in creating tiny snowmen out of air-dry clay. You will have options to decorate your creation. Use your imagination and have some fun!

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Children ages 4-18 are invited to enjoy an afterschool snack/meal from 3:30-5:00 pm at Ralph Ellison Library. 

Join us for a fun and creative session as we make colorful button garlands! This hands-on craft program is perfect for all ages—design your own unique garland using buttons, string, and a splash of imagination. All materials provided.

Join us for a support group for parents hosted by Oklahoma County Child Guidance through the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.

Are you a seasoned chess player looking to get in some more practice or help bring new players into the game, or a new player looking to dip their toes into the world of chess? This all ages, all skill levels program will help you do just that!

Warm up at Metropolitan Library System's most historic library before and after the Stockyards City Cowboy Christmas Parade. Stop in and bring the family for a cup of hot chocolate or coffee on us!

Come see a live performance of "The Snow Queen" featuring local homeschool youth. "The Snow Queen" is the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen written in 1844 that the movie "Frozen" was loosely based on.

Get ready for a bubbly good time! Join us for Bubble Playtime-a fun and interactive program where kids can chase, pop, and create bubbles of all sizes. This program encourages play, gross motor skills, and sensory exploration.
