Learn the basics of becoming a U.S. Citizen! The Southern Oaks Public Library is partnering with Community Literary Centers to provide free weekly classes that explore the steps of the naturalization process.

The Pet Food Pantry of Oklahoma, Central Oklahoma's Food Bank for Pets, will bring their mobile food pantry to the Ralph Ellison parking lot to give away food for your dog or cat. Food available while supplies last.

Do you love painting, drawing, sculpting, or just being creative? Then join us on the 2nd Friday of every month at 2PM to learn about a new art method or material!

Join us for Saturday Family Storytime at the Belle Isle Library! Enjoy a fun-filled morning of books, songs, play, and interactive activities, perfect for the whole family. Activities will vary week to week. 

Warm up this winter with a cozy afternoon of hot chocolate tasting at the library! Sample a variety of rich and flavorful hot chocolates—from classic milk chocolate to unique seasonal blends.

Interested in knitting or learning how to knit?

The Write Spot is your dedicated time and space to focus on your writing in a supportive community. 

The first hour will be a lesson/discussion about a writing topic with an author, editor or local industry professional. 

Join us for a Storytime geared toward those who are deaf, hard of hearing, or coda.  This event is intended for families and all members are welcome to attend.  Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parent

Grab those mittens and sled on into the Ralph Ellison library for a holiday program of arts and crafts and refreshments

The Del City team is hosting Reindeer Games! Take a break from holiday menu planning and shopping! Sing carols, create a craft and participate in some games! 

They won't be edible, but they'll sure look sweet! Come to the Choctaw Library and make a faux gingerbread house to decorate for the holidays.

Due to the complexity of the project and the limited time available to complete it, children under 10 years old are required to have an adult or an older sibling attend the class with them to assist with the project. 

News 9 Meteorologist and Storm Chaser Jed Castles and Weather Camp are back for an all-new event!  Jed will be talking about Winter Weather and Winter Weather safety, the Spring severe weather outlook and much more!

Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available.
