Color Our World when you come to the Northwest Library in June! Stop by the table near the Info, color and decorate one popsicle stick. These will be assembled in a collage to create a piece of Community Art!

What have you been reading during the summer reading program? We want to know! Visit the Northwest Library and fill out a book review of a book you have read this summer.

Step into a living display of transformation! Visit our side-by-side tanks all summer long as we explore the beauty of nature and color in motion. One tank features tiny caterpillars growing and changing into vibrant butterflies.

Create a torn paper collage inspired by artist Edgar Heap of Birds' Neuf painting series. Rip colorful paper into jagged pieces to create shapes like mountain peaks, rocky canyons, and tree leaves.

Come to Capitol Hill Library and ask for a Colorful I Spy sheet, then find all your favorite colors around the library! Prizes available while supplies last!

Come join Ralph Ellison Library for an educational scavenger hunt about OKC metro landmarks! Find all the pictures of the landmarks hidden around the library and you can earn a prize!

Pages & Prose Parcel- Summers is a three-month library book box subscription service geared toward children ages 8 – 14.

Welcome to our Low-Key Book Club! Stop by the library to pick up a box featuring a different book title each month, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each box includes the book and some reading goodies to enhance your experience.

Have you always wanted to explore creative writing but never had the chance? Pick up one of our creative writing chapbooks filled with creative writing exercises meant to strengthen your creative muscles!

It can be difficult to take a moment to stop, slow down, and focus on something that’s good for our well-being. Pick up one of our monthly mindfulness journals filled with prompts to help you focus on your mental health! 

The Southern Oaks Library welcomes the community to join in spreading kindness throughout the year. A kindness calendar will be available each month for library guests to pick up in person or available curbside.

Squiggly pens, with their unpredictable, flowing lines, can be connected to the artwork of Edgar Heap of Birds through their shared emphasis on movement, spontaneity, and personal expression.

Color your world this summer by creating your own one-of-a-kind spinning top! You'll be able to experiment with different color combinations and patterns as you explore the magic of color. All supplies except for markers/crayons are included.
