Let's go on an animal adventure! Each month, we'll learn about a different animal, read a related story, and work on an animal craft or activity together. 

3rd Friday of every month at 2PM.

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.

The time has come, the end of the school year is here! Celebrate with us at the Capitol Hill Library as we will have various stations for your to visit. Enjoy refreshments and be sure to capture your favorite poses at our photobooth!

This class, led by Mason Huddleston, Urban Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for the OSU Extension, will walk you through the essentials of composting at home.

Little ones are invited to squish, roll, and create at this fish-themed storytime with Blue Thumb! Kids will use colorful playdough to make their very own fish while talking about how they look and move in the water.

Join us on the fourth Saturday of each month to complete a LEGO challenge. All LEGO's will be provided.

Unwind from the school day and let your creative energy flow! Children ages 5-12 and their adults are invited to the library on the last Tuesday of every month to experiment with various arts and crafts materials.

It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome.

Time to grow! Check out our small collection of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. The seed library is available before and during the 2026 growing season. Also, seed donations are accepted and welcomed!

Explore the Luther Library in a new way by completing the monthly scavenger hunt! Each month is a different theme and you earn a prize for finding all the hidden pictures.

Big imagination meets tiny dinosaurs! 

Kiddos will create a clay dinosaur and dream up the story of where it lived and how it was discovered.

Join us on Mondays & Wednesdays for a delicious meal provided by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. We’ll have educational videos to watch and games to play while you enjoy your food and hang out with friends.
