Join us for a community art project inspired by the exhibit, Honor Song at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. 

During June & July, come to the Creation Station to take part in collaborative art projects and other ways to color our world!

Activities will rotate throughout the summer.

This is a take home kit for ages 5 and up. Included is an informational booklet about Oklahoma butterflies, the butterfly life cycle, and how to attract butterflies with flowers, water, and food.

Create a step-by-step family tree! Include whoever you consider your family--friends, found relatives, etc. Feel free to share your creations with family and the library!

Create your own fridge magnets! Use the paint and canvases provided to make your refrigerator come to life. Whether you’ve never painted before or are a seasoned professional your creation will liven up your space.

Come by the Luther Library every week of Summer Reading for a unique arts themed craft! This week is an exploration of dots. There is an entire artform, called pointillism, that uses just dots to create entire images!

Learn about American artist Kehinde Wiley, who paints portraits of every day people in an ornate, classic style.
