Calling all insect explorers! Want to create and keep a collection of insects at your home? What if you could capture and decorate them yourself?

Plan your garden for the year with our garden planning notebook. This kit starts a series of kits aimed at growing your very own container garden. You can also use it to expand or start your own backyard garden.  

Ever wondered what the world looks like through a bug’s eyes? 

In the air, water, and even under foot, insects inhabit every domain of our daily lives, performing essential functions that balance our fragile ecosystem on earth.

We are celebrating 100 years since Dr. Carter G. Woodson established Black History Week with a scavenger hunt all month long. Each week will be based on a different category. This week is Black Inventors.

Celebrate Valentine's Day with this sunny take-home kit that will brighten your day and your home! Each kit contains all the supplies you need as well as instructions to create your own heart-shaped suncatcher.

Book a slot in our Makerspace to learn about linocut printmaking and make a DIY Valentine's Card. Staff will give you a brief introduction on how to use the tools & provide you with materials.

Need to make a Valentine's card? Come to the library and put one together! Use paper hearts and markers to decorate a card for your loved one.
