Come play board games, ranging from childhood classics to some of the newest around! This come-and-go event welcomes all ages and skill levels. 

Come learn the basics of board game design and make your own game to take and play! 

Bring your ideas; all other supplies will be provided.

Join us on Saturdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Saturday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.

On the second and last Wednesday of the month through November, come create with us! This will be a come and go afternoon craft session for all ages!

Glitter and glue and markers and tape... these are a few of my favorite things. Join us every Friday afternoon between 2:00-3:00PM for come-and-go crafts.

Buttons, buttons, and more buttons! Choose from our library of designs, request a custom image, or design your own and then learn how to turn it into a real button on our machines! The only limit is your creativity!

Join children's book illustrator Kara Mitchell to get excited about art and decorate your own sketchbook! All supplies will be provided, and participants can take home their personalized sketchbook at the end of the program.

What is a chain? What are some different stitches? Come learn the basics of crochet and start a project with your family.

This is a semester-long class for teens and tweens to learn guitar! No music experience is required, AND instruments will be provided by the library.

Are you interested in learning how to use your air fryer or are you looking for new recipes? The Choctaw Library is hosting an air fryer program with the help of the OSU Extension presenter, Taylor Conner. 

Have a yarn project you have been working on? Join us for this bi-weekly program, as we gather in a safe space to share our yarn expertise and learn from one another. We will be working the same pattern until the project is completed.

Come and paint your own jar to look like stained glass.  Jars will be provided as well as LED candles to make your art shine.  Turn a simple jar into a beautiful piece of art!  Registration required.

It's International Games day!

You’re never too young or too old to make art! Join us the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for open-ended creation inspired by different artists and techniques. Children age six and younger should be accompanied by an adult.

Rice bags are perfect for those aches and pains. Did you know they can also be put in the freezer to be used as a cold compress? Learn to sew one to keep on hand for when you need one. They also make an easy gift to give!
