Week Calendar

The Southern Oaks Library welcomes the community to join in spreading kindness throughout the year. A kindness calendar will be available each month for library guests to pick up in person or available curbside.

Have a spooky good time at the library by searching for literature's most notorious villains. Each week will feature five villains hidden amongst the shelves. Once you locate all five, come to the adult reference desk for a prize.

Did you know Johnny Appleseed was a real person, not just a legend? Celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day by making a fun craft. Supplies are all provided. You can also learn some more about apples and John Chapman.

It's Hispanic Heritage Month, so create a collage with flags from different countries.
