About Our Experience Passes
Metro Library guests now have the opportunity to experience the Oklahoma City metro area in a new way using their Metro Library account. Guests can visit a local library to check out an Experience Pass to one of seven museum experiences including the American Banjo Museum, the First Americans Museum, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA), the Oklahoma Firefighters Museum, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Gaylord-Pickens Museum, the Oklahoma History Center, and Skeletons: Museum of Osteology.
Each library has one Experience Pass for each of the seven museums, available to loan for up to seven days. Experience passes are first-come first-served (not holdable through our catalog), and you can check the availability of experience passes here.
After checking availability, please call us at 405-231-8650 so that we can hold it for you if you're on your way to pick it up. Only one pass per family at a time can be checked out. Each pass includes the following:
American Banjo Museum
One pass allows admission for up to five people
First Americans Museum
One pass allows admission for up to two adults and four children
Oklahoma City Museum of Art
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Oklahoma Firefighters Museum
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Oklahoma Hall of Fame Gaylord-Pickens Museum
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Oklahoma History Center
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Skeletons: Museum of Osteology
One pass allows admission for up to two adults and two children
Rules for use

Experience passes cannot be renewed.

Only one pass may be checked out at a time per household.

Overdue fines are $1 per day up to a total of $30.

The lost item charge (replacement cost) for each pass is $60.
Upcoming Events
Teens, join us and learn the basics of sewing, then put that knowledge to the test by creating your own plush friend out of felt! Participants will leave with a completed craft.
Create, explore, and meet new friends at your neighborhood library! We’ll provide the space and supplies, you supply the creativity!
Join us on Thursdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.
Improve your English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This intermediate level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm.
Your adventure awaits you at the Edmond Library in our Dungeons & Dragons campaign for teens & tweens! Join us Thursdays as we begin or continue campaigns with our experienced Dungeon Masters.
Prepare for the U.S. Citizenship process in this class made possibly by Community Literacy Centers. This class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-8:00pm.
