About Our Experience Passes
Metro Library guests now have the opportunity to experience the Oklahoma City metro area in a new way using their Metro Library account. Guests can visit a local library to check out an Experience Pass to one of seven museum experiences including the American Banjo Museum, the First Americans Museum, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA), the Oklahoma Firefighters Museum, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Gaylord-Pickens Museum, the Oklahoma History Center, and Skeletons: Museum of Osteology.
Each library has one Experience Pass for each of the seven museums, available to loan for up to seven days. Experience passes are first-come first-served (not holdable through our catalog), and you can check the availability of experience passes here.
After checking availability, please call us at 405-231-8650 so that we can hold it for you if you're on your way to pick it up. Only one pass per family at a time can be checked out. Each pass includes the following:
American Banjo Museum
One pass allows admission for up to five people
First Americans Museum
One pass allows admission for up to two adults and four children
Oklahoma City Museum of Art
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Oklahoma Firefighters Museum
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Oklahoma Hall of Fame Gaylord-Pickens Museum
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Oklahoma History Center
One pass allows admission for up to five people
Skeletons: Museum of Osteology
One pass allows admission for up to two adults and two children
Rules for use

Experience passes cannot be renewed.

Only one pass may be checked out at a time per household.

Overdue fines are $1 per day up to a total of $30.

The lost item charge (replacement cost) for each pass is $60.

Language Learners Meetup is a time and space for those who are learning a language, any language, to practice, learn new methods, and explore resources available to them to help them on their way.
Get ready for the holidays! Join us this December 6th at 2pm to make your own Toy Shop Lantern that you can keep for the seasons! We will be using pre-cut paper templates for our Lanterns and decorating them here in our Library.
Teens, join us and learn acrylic painting techniques! This month, we will be painting holiday candles in front of a snowy window. You will leave with a completed painting.
Come join us for some LEGO fun! We provide the legos, you provide the creativity!
Come see a live performance of "The Snow Queen" featuring local homeschool youth. "The Snow Queen" is the fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson written in 1844 that the movie "Frozen" was loosely based on.

Get ready for a foamy, colorful afternoon of science at the library! Kids are invited to join us for a hands-on, in-person science program where we’ll explore the chemistry behind the spectacular “elephant toothpaste” experiment.
