The Intermediate Tai Chi class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements. Beginners Tai Chi or previous Tia Chi experience is helpful.

For teens in grades 6 - 12.

Owls swallow their prey whole, and their digestive systems separate flesh from bone. Later, they regurgitate compact pellets containing undigested skeleton bones.

Children ages 4-18 are invited to enjoy an afterschool snack/meal from 3:30-5:00 pm at Ralph Ellison Library. 

Hang out at the library and make art. There will be new prompts and media to use each week. All supplies will be provided. 

This is a teen program open to ages 12-17.

Teens, join us and learn the basics of sewing, then put that knowledge to the test by creating your own plush friend out of felt! Participants will leave with a completed craft.

Join us on Thursdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.

Whether you’re brand-new to art or already creating masterpieces, spark your creativity with us! This month we’re exploring Notan, a Japanese design concept that plays with the balance between light and dark.
