Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Local artist Jim Pourtorkan is here to teach watercolors for adults! Please register today, seats are limited!

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

Located at 2101 Exchange, the Wright Library first opened its doors in September 1925 and it still stands as the oldest continuously operating library building in the Metropolitan Library system.

Our project this month is PAPER PLATE TURTLE CRAFT.

Calling all young readers! Join us as we discover new books, play games, make crafts, and more! Books clubs are an excellent way for children to develop language and conversation skills, solve problems, and make new friends.

Join us on the fourth Saturday of each month to complete a LEGO challenge. All LEGO's will be provided.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Let's engage in some Mexican folk art and learn about alebrijes - colorfully painted animals that popped up in the last century, typically associated with being "spirit guides" - like the ones seen in Disney's Coco!

Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available. 

Join us every other Monday for an array of after-school activities. School-aged children and teens only!

Join other LEGO fans at the Belle Isle Library to engineer some fun! Imagine, explore, collaborate, and create as we build with LEGOs. This program is for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. 

Gather with other teens in an open and welcoming after-school space where everyone is free to be who they are. We will share experiences and do fun activities including small crafts.

Join us for a different STEAM activity each Tuesday! All ages welcome!

Enjoy a tasty meal provided by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, then get creative with exciting Arts & Crafts. Each week brings a new activity, so there's always something fun to do while spending time with friends.

Come along with us as we explore storytelling beyond words! 

This month, we're looking at Jim Henson's puppetry.

Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by stepping into the colorful world of Frida Kahlo—one of Mexico’s most iconic artists!

Hang out at the library and make art. There will be new prompts and media to use each week. All supplies will be provided. 

This is a teen program open to ages 12-17.

Teens, join us and make a colorful bath bomb to make your bath time even more relaxing! Participants will leave with a finished craft.

Join us on Thursdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.

Celebrate nearly nine decades since the publication of the Hobbit by learning how to write your name in the clever and beautiful scripts invented by JRR Tolkien.

This program will be a beginner friendly workshop for those interested in relief printmaking. Ever wondered how the masters do it?

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Join us at the Choctaw Library to make coaster-sized string art for your favorite sci-fi/space shows! 

Come design and assemble your very own adorable fall-themed felt animals—think owls, foxes, squirrels, and more!

No sewing skills are needed. Come celebrate the season with a little imagination and a lot of felt fun!
