Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Gelli Plate Journaling 

Enjoy Creating a Colorful "One-of-a-Kind Journal" 

made with Gelli Plate pages you create. 

Children will create playful, three-dimensional dinosaur sculptures using cardboard templates and a wide variety of colorful materials.

Learn the basics of cross-stitch and create your very own T-Rex design! In this in-person program, participants will receive a brief tutorial on how to cross stitch and follow a simple pattern.

Pictographs, Petroglyphs, and Pottery, oh my! Learn how symbols can tell us stories from the past and even today along with some hands-on archaeology activities, including reconstructing your own pottery "artifact."

Make your own fossils to take home at this cool class! Mold sand dough into eggs and smash them open once they dry to reveal your dinosaur.  

Learn about fossils with Blue Thumb!

Blue Thumb is the education arm of the Water Quality Division of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, with the mission of stream protection through education.

Have you ever thought about entering a craft piece at the state fair? Now is your chance! Stop by to learn the how, when, and where details of competing at the fair and use this time to work on your projects. 

Inspired by the beauty of prehistoric geode formations, participants will create a one-of-a-kind geode-inspired artwork using drawing and mixed media techniques.

Double the fun with two awesome ways to color! 

Kids will create a bookmark using old
Oklahoma State Fair ribbons to mark their
place in summer reading! Each participant will
receive a small grouping of ribbons and be
able to cut & create designs to glue to their

Join us on the fourth Saturday of each month to complete a LEGO challenge. All LEGO's will be provided.

In this all-ages program, we will be making dinosaur puppets using yarn! Together, we will learn how to create pom-poms and finger knit with yarn.

Travel back in time for a dino-sized adventure! Join us for a lively storytime followed by hands-on fun with crafts, games, and sensory play.

Guided by fiber artist Darci Lenker, needle felt wool into a three-dimensional dinosaur or fossil-inspired sculpture. 

Come & Go crafting!

Join us anytime between 3-4:30pm on the 2nd & 4th Fridays in June & July! This is a self directed come and go program. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available. 

Hang out at the library and make art. There will be new prompts and media to use each week. All supplies will be provided. 

This is a teen program open to ages 12-17.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the 1951 film release of Alice in Wonderland.

Eric of JEO Creations will demonstrate how to use reference to draw dinosaurs and create unique prehistoric creatures!

This program is designed for Teens and Adults. Must be twelve years or older to participate.

The Scrapbook Studio is an opportunity for guests to preserve memories, create personalized keepsakes, and connect with fellow scrapbook enthusiasts. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
