This Spring Break, the Del City Library is having a two-day Babysitting 101 workshop. CPR/First Aid/AED certification is included in the two-day workshop.

Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Get ready to create colorful, textured art using just sand and glue! Join us at the library for Sand Painting, where kids can explore a unique way to paint and express their creativity.

Calling all Preschoolers, ages 3.5-5! What will be going on at the library today? Something exciting just for you! Will it be playtime, storytime, parachute play, or music play? No matter what, it will be fun, so come and see!

A calming cosmic hideaway where young astronauts can recharge their engines. Kids explore soothing lights, gentle textures, quiet activities, and space-themed sensory tools designed to help them regulate, reset, and rejoin the mission. 

Stop by the library and let your creativity flow as you make some crafts and explore with art supplies. This is a come and go event intended for elementary-aged kids.

Set a course for the cosmos and explore the universe from your library! Each day, young space explorers will learn about a different trailblazing woman who has made history in astronomy, engineering, and space travel.

Get ready to build, create, and imagine! Join us at the library this Spring Break for our LEGO Challenge, open to builders of all ages. We’ll provide the bricks—you bring the creativity!

Celebrate Women’s History Month with hands-on STEM fun inspired by the brilliant women of Hidden Figures!

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Children ages 4-18 are invited to enjoy an afterschool snack/meal from 3:30-5:00 pm at Ralph Ellison Library. 

Join us Spring Break 2026 for a screen printing workshop for teens (12+)! Participants will use a pre-selected, teen-created design to screen print on a piece of cardstock (perfect for displaying) and a tote bag—both provided.

Calling all future magicians ages 8-16! Join us once a month to learn all the skills and magic tricks you need to wow your family and friends!

Join us on Thursdays in the Makerspace for a quick crafternoon! Each Thursday, guests will have the opportunity to complete a quick craft using the equipment in the MLS Studio.

Teens, join us and play games with other game lovers. There will be board, card, and video games available.
