Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Create a Beautiful and Colorful Stain Glass Work of Art

Interested in knitting or learning how to knit?

Love knitting, crocheting, or other fiber arts? Join us on the second Saturday of every month! Bring your works in progress and connect with fellow crafters of all skill levels.

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

Join us for a hands-on spacecraft adventure for young stargazers! We will learn about constellations, create our own star designs, and build mini constellation projectors to bring the stars indoors.

Welcome to Chats & Crafts! Where we bring in a professional to talk about the important things while you work on a small project. This month's presenter is Archwell Health with Medicare 101!

Calling all K-Pop fans! Join us for a relaxed, fandom-friendly hangout celebrating all things K-Pop.

Join us at the Choctaw Library on the first Sunday of every month for Family Movie Afternoon. There will be crafts that go along with the movie and interactive "scripts" to keep children engaged.

Get ready to build, dance, and play with balloons! 

Celebrate Saint Patrick's Day with this fun story and craft event.  We will read a children's story to the group based on the holiday, play some games, play some music, and put together a craft.  All supplies will be provided.

Join us as we create our very own little ecosystems for preserved bugs of all different kinds! This is a teen and adult program ONLY. 

Get creative with color! The library will provide all materials for a fun tie-dye experience. Want more? Bring your own light-colored, natural fabric items for extra tie-dye fun!

Come for the lemonade, stay for the games, crafts, and activities! We'll bring out our Nintendo Switch and compete in Mario Kart tournaments, play Exploding Kittens, do puzzles together, and more!

For teens in grades 6 - 12.

Kids, Teens, and Adults, come join us in designing and making your own pinwheel creations. There will be an assortment of different designs, shapes, and ways you can decorate your pinwheels. 

Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available. 

Calling all junior librarians! Learn the Dewey Decimal System, explore our databases, talk about new books, create library displays, and help us decorate the children's area of the library. 

2nd Monday of every month at 4PM

Join us for Imagine Lab at the Belle Isle Library! Each week, kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade will take part in a new activity designed to spark creativity and encourage learning.

Gather with other teens in an open and welcoming after-school space where everyone is free to be who they are. We will share experiences and do fun activities including small crafts.

Be a part of history!

Join us for a different STEAM activity each Tuesday! All ages welcome!

Hang out at the library and make art. There will be new prompts and media to use each week. All supplies will be provided. 

This is a teen program open to ages 12-17.

Choose your own creative skill-building adventure! Join Skill Craft, where teens and adults learn hands-on skills like paper making, woodworking, and jewelry design.

Teens, join us and learn about diamond painting, then put those skills to use to create your own coaster with an image of a cat on it.

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Week 2: Paint

It's time to paint your print! After you remove any supports from your print and smooth it as needed, use acrylic paint to decorate it!

Hop into creativity as we transform socks into adorable bunnies using easy, no-sew techniques. This fun, hands-on program is perfect for teens who love crafts and want to make a soft, squishy friend to take home.
